That's me!

I've been geeking out over games, puzzles, math, and programming for as long as I can remember. My granddad was a physics professor, and my mom was a math teacher, so when I went to college, I studied both!

At the end of college, I decided to do more math, so I went to grad school at the University of Washington and studied combinatorics, which is all about counting things. I enjoyed teaching, TA'ing, and tutoring so much over the years that I started teaching directly after graduating.

Since then, I have worked on developing both math curriculum and puzzle games. My main professional belief is that learning is interactive, and I follow that belief wherever it leads me in teaching, tutoring, game design, writing, electronics, and more!
