Tutoring
↩️ Detour
My tutoring business is currently at friendlymathtutoring.com. The information below will be updated in time.
Services
My teaching experiences range from 6th grade through college-level mathematics, and I would be delighted to tutor for any such course. See below for a list of where and what I have specifically taught. Even if what you want to learn isn't on that list, feel free to ask me about it!
My base rate is $100/hour for online tutoring sessions. I have a limited ability to offer a sliding scale for fees, so please let me know if that would be helpful. I can also offer a group discount if multiple people want to attend a session simultaneously.
In addition to session time, I offer the following services:
Supplemental materials and feedback. I can create supplemental materials like practice tests and even provide feedback on them without cutting into session time. I'm happy to do this on an as-needed basis for an additional $50 per session.
Custom classes. Even if you're not currently enrolled in a particular class and you still want to learn something within my area of expertise, I can design an entire course for you. This is the best option if you want to learn calculus over the summer or create your first video game. Due to the considerable amount of work outside of sessions I will need to do, I charge $200/hour for this service.

Reviews
"Graham was a fantastic tutor. I truly don't think I would have passed my physics class without him. He is patient and kind, and helped me develop an effective strategy to study for exams and complete labs and homework. He's very knowledgeable and encouraging, and it was always easy for me to reach him. I highly recommend Graham's tutoring services!" -Marisol CJ
"Graham was an excellent tutor and mentor to me when I was an undergraduate student. With Graham's help, I was able to learn a completely new topic from a graduate-level textbook, something I never would have thought possible before. He established challenging but reachable goals for me and was always excited to answer every question. He's not only a skilled mathematician, but a skilled teacher who creates a welcoming environment for anyone who wants to learn. I highly recommend him as a mathematics teacher!" -Thalya P
